Is The Apple Mac Right For Your Business?

Apple is the true sleeper in the home business world today in my opinion. My Wife and I have noticed that each and every time we've ventured into our local Apple store the place is packed.

With the introduction of the intel processor and Parallels and now Vmware's Fusion We have the best of both worlds of software. We can run Apple software and Windows Software seamlessly together.

We have the ability to copy and paste share files etc.. and it's only getting better.

It seems years ago most of the major companies either dropped or neglected the Mac’s when it came to business software.

In the spring of 2007, I made the decision after 2 years in a row of having my Window’s systems either crash or become corrupted to give the new Intel Apple Mac’s a try.

This is a decision that I’ve not regretted one bit. Let’s just take a comparison of the MacBook Pro Laptop to a HP Laptop both 17 inch wide screen’s.

MacBook Pro running apples OS X software loads very quick. Once up and running, I can operate the apple for well over 3 hours on the battery.

HP Laptop running Windows Xp, initially starts out loading fast but after the numerous windows updates well if your a windoz user you know already.

The HP on battery power lasts just over 1 hour, wow now thats productive. The HP Laptop running Vista, well lets just forget about that, no wonder microsoft extended Xp until 2008.

Ok enough bashing of Microsoft, they’ve done well but in my opinion they are no longer the dominant player, the market has decided.

The Apple Mac's make a great platform for running your home business, All the way from the Mac Mini to the Mac Pro and now with the Iphone the integration is almost seamless.

Finding the right software for the Mac can be challenging at best and it is also a matter of personal choice. Just like on Windows we start out with a email program.
