What is a home business lead.? With the majority of home businesses falling into the MLM - network marketing category what differentiates the leads? Is there anything special about them.

When looking for leads we have to identify what we are after first, are we looking for potential customers for our products or services? What approach will we take with these leads?

Not all home business leads sources are the same.

With so many home business lead generation sources out there how do you choose one that you can work with? I've watched so many start up lead companies pop-up it really makes you wonder if they can actually generate everything they claim.

We have a few companies that actually make claims that from a statistical point of view are impossible, the numbers just do not add up. I have seen companies offer home business leads from $25 to $35 per lead and more.

I have seen companies sell leads 500 for $29.95 and claim that they are exclusive leads and given to no one else. You can almost tell by this they must be lying?

What is really funny how we end up on these lists of exclusive leads list having never submitted a request for this information from them. 99.9% of all home businesses are a form of either affiliate programs or mlm/network marketing programs.

The home business leads required for these businesses are the same there is no difference between network marketing leads and home business leads! A lead is someone who has requested more information!

This is where inexperienced people will fail, for that reason no one likes to cold call leads, yet if you want your business to grow, you had better get used to it quickly.

Working leads requires skill development, once you learn just how to do it you can succeed in just about anything you'll ever do. Since we really do hate cold calling we'll try anything to get out of it.

The sad part is there will always be someone out there willing to take our money with a system etc... What we really need is skill development.
