How To Stop Scraper Pro Users

Scraper Pro users have become a nightmare issues for just about anyone that has a website that ranks anywhere close to the top in the search engines.
The software is being touted as the ultimate solution to generate endless free network marketing leads. I wrote a post awhile back "Scraper Pro A Scam for Network Marketers" that covered how I felt about the issue.
It probably would not be much of an issue if you could actually talk to a real person. But, most of them are simply plugging your phone number into an auto-dialer!
Years ago email bots crawled your site looking for your email address so they could either sell it to others or send endless spam to you...
...It got so bad they created the Can-Spam laws. And, today we have auto-dialer laws, but people still do it.
Eventually There where ways to cloak your email address and prevent them from harvesting this data.
So, how can you prevent the new Scraper Pro scammers from bombarding you with unwanted phone calls?
First we have to know how they are doing it. The software looks to the search engines and locates your website based on a keyword search.
Then it hits the most likely place for a telephone number, your about page or your contact page. I've watched my server logs in real time and you can see this pattern.
The solution I came up was to simply place the phone number in a graphic. Yep, it's that simple.
This way if they say I found your website the only way the could have gotten the phone number was to actually have gone there.
