Incorporating Video Into Your Marketing.

When I first looked into incorporating video into my different websites I looked around at what people where actually doing. Most of the video's that I watched where, well lets just say poorly done.
Creating a video that captivates your audience and also does the preliminary selling can be difficult if you really do not know what you're doing. Just by viewing many of those on Youtube you will see a few that hit their mark and many that are just plain horrible.
Early last year I did find a site that provided the training to help almost anyone learn how to setup and create a compelling video. Going through the video training shows that while it may seem complicated it is actually not to difficult to produce a great video.
Should you be incorporating video's into your site? I really think we should, it is easy to use others video like I've done on this site, yet in the near future it will be replaced with my very own video productions.
When I stopped and really thought about the question of video versus text on a web site, it really hit home. I will almost always watch a video all the way to the end if it is a good video, a text based site I will tend to skim it over then move on.
If you're truly serious about creating killer web video then I would recommend you check out Dave's WebVideoUniversity there you will find training that covers both the Windows and Mac platforms. The training is simple and easy to follow.
In no time at all you can incorporate web video into your marketing repertoire.

Thanks so much for this article. I have been working toward placing video in my personal blog marketing. It has been a difficult transition for me though a very rewarding one to expand my knowledge base and ability in this area. I appreciate your words and counsel in the subject matter and look forward to reading more of your posts in the future.
