Making A Presentation With Yugma
March 15, 2009

As a small home business owner making presentations can be challenging, yet there are a few resources that can make life so much simpler. We no longer really need to travel to locations to make a first class presentation.
With today's home based businesses, covering such a wide range of products and services and the majority of it done via the internet there is one tool that I've found quite useful.
That tool is Yugma. Their service allows you to hold web conferences with almost anyone, anywhere in the world today. While their competitors have finally gone beyond Windows, to include the Mac's, Yugma covers Linux also.
Then there is the price difference, which is also a major consideration for any small business. Many home businesses can get by with just their free account, if most of what you will be doing is demonstrating one-on-one.
They have three different versions: Yugma's Free Edition - which gives you free web conferencing allows you to invite up to 20 attendees. For most people, this is more then enough. It allows you to let others view your desktop, It's nice when everyone is on the same page.
Yugma's Pro Edition - has all of the same features in the Free addition but now lets you do so much more, like host a meeting with up to 500 people. You can also make one of the attendees the presenter so they can share their desktop for presentations.
Yugma's Skype Edition- Much like the free edition 1 host and up to 20 attendees. This allows Skype users to share their desktop instantly with anyone anywhere.
I've used the software for a couple of years now, it really has made my life much simpler, especially when it comes to fixing or demonstrating software. Being able to show someone a contact management program and walk someone through the setup and implementation is awesome.
When it comes to showing someone how to setup a blog, modules, plugin's etc... it takes on a whole new meaning when your doing it essentially live and can address questions as they come up, try doing that with just a video. Take a look at Yugma today!
