The site here at Nav60.com has undergone some major transitions over the years in the both the content and design of the site.
Originally, it began as a pure static html site. One that I occasionally neglect for quite sometime, the problem when you have so many different ones.
The site here has now transitioned to fully to the Blog format utilizing Wordpress as the underlying engine. Finding a theme to use with any site can be challenging, so many options to choose from.
With so many theme's is anyone actually better than any other? I used to think that it really did not matter, so when I started seeing many references to the Thesis them, I chalked it up to it's affiliate program.
It was not until I purchased the theme and began to really dig into the underlying code that I could see the real difference Chris Pearson had implemented into it.
The site here currently is running Thesis 1.5b, a beta version that has many new enhancements built into it. You should never run a beta version on a live site, unless your willing to spend time troubleshooting and correcting issues that arise!
Customizing the Thesis theme may prove a little difficult at first. The support forum as many useful tips that can assist you towards getting that truly unique site look. Believe me I'm no graphic designer, yet it did not take long to make a semi-decent header graphic with Photoshop CS3.
The drop down menu's and graphics implementation, came through a few hours of research on the Thesis forum. With so many their willing to help, it really does make it a great theme and maybe the last one you'll need for your home business blog site.
The theme comes in two versions, the personal option and the developer's option. The Personal Option allows you to place the theme on one site and you must leave the footer attribution link keywords intact.
