Google will soon begin using load time as part of your landing page quality Score. This has far reaching effects for many of us, depending on where we host our web sites.
They did state that it would be after a review period of one month; this should hopefully eliminate the network traffic congestion that often occurs.

If your a Mac User and looking for blogging software that works from your desktop take a look at Marsedit.
While in a previous post I talked about MacJournal, which has a version for both Windows and Mac, Marsedit is Mac only.
What I find intriguing is that ME works great with Drupal another up and coming CMS package.
I found the software easy to use and presented a feature that I really liked. By editing the preview template, using your blogs template parameters the preview shows you just what your blog post will look like on your site. Read more...

Every now and then you run across a great piece of software that helps you in more ways then you can imagine. One of those pieces of software that I recently came across is produced by Mariner Software. They produce a version for both Mac and Windows based computers.
